MID DEVICE:
We offer a series of remarkable mid-devices, hand built in Canada, based on a single design principle: that mid-range is where the music is.
Precision cast frames hold massive magnets, powering large ribbon voice coils. Well damped, low mass cones move incredibly quickly, accurately tracking the musical waveform. Transients are explosive, and definition is breath-taking.
MDN-50, 50 mm (2") Dome
Believe it or not, the MDN-50 is a midrange device! It is powered by a 72g (2.5 oz) neodymium magnet and a 50 mm (2") aluminium voice coil. This dome midrange device is for very high performance sound systems, with a suggested operating range of 550 Hz to 13 KHz. |

MXD-100, 100 mm (4")
Since its release almost eight years ago, the MXD-100 is still the highest power handling 4" midrange on the market. It can easily work 125 W RMS! This is a midrange designed for very high performance sound systems, and the operating range is suggested at 130 Hz to 7.5 KHz. |

MXD-130, 130 mm (5.25")
The MXD-130 is perhaps one of our most popular models since the beginning of AVI. Over the years, it has gone through many redesigns and changes to achieve near perfection now. The MXD-130 and MXD-160 were probably one of the first midrange devices which used a massive 30 oz magnet (which is the maximum weight for a 5" magnet). It is designed for very high performance sound systems, and the operating range is suggested at 120 Hz to 8 KHz. |

MXD-160, 160 mm (6.5")
The main difference between the MXD-130 and the MXD-160 is the size. Over the years, it has gone through many redesigns and changes to achieve near perfection now. Both midranges were probably the first midrange devices which used a massive 30 oz magnet (which is the maximum weight for a 5" magnet). This midrange is designed for very high performance sound systems, and the operating range is suggested at 105 Hz to 7.5 KHz. |

FRM-70, 70 mm (2.5")
Serious disbelief was the first reaction from audiophiles with this little full range. To date, nothing has emerged from the market that has the capability of high quality sound production from something this compact. It is the most powerful 2.5" Full Range Device in the market (45 W RMS), thus making it a good center channel speaker. With a cast aluminum frame, 1" voice coil, and a neodymium magnet, The FRM-70 makes no compromises in quality. It is designed for very high performance sound systems, and the operating range is suggested at 110 Hz to 26 KHz. |

FRM-130, 130 mm (5.25")
Don't be fooled by the model name "FRM" into thinking that it's a Full Range Device, because it is actually closer to a midrange. You will have noticed that the bright yellow cone is quite different from the other mids, but if you look closer, you will also find that it is made with woven kevlar. The FRM-130 is a powerful and big range speaker designed for very high performance sound systems. The suggested operating range is 110 Hz to 5.5 KHz. |

XL-130, 130 mm (5.25")
The XL-130 was designed as an entry level midrange which can handle decent power with good sound quality. Along with the XL-160, they are definitely the best priced speakers for their performance in the market. The XL-Series are only available in a component set, with an 18 dB crossover (with tweeter protection), a pair of HF-25T tweeters, and a pair of matching grills. The XL-130 is designed for good performance sound systems with a suggested operating range of 100 Hz to 8.5 KHz. |
